Gabriele Ciulli

Gabriele Ciulli lives and works between London and Rome. His practice explores the impossibility of inhabiting a territory without partaking in the negotiations that it implies. The functional distance found in the action of drawing and film act as methods of perception. Sculpture and installation diminish this distance, accessing the environment as a form of spatial punctuation, fragmenting, dissociating and recomposing space.
