Rasmus Richter

Rasmus Richter is  a sculptor working with wood, plaster, and bronze, with things he picks up from the street and things he has saved for a long time in small boxes. His sculptures keep breaking even though he tends to be very careful with them. They stand on legs that give away to their own weight, hold themselves together, and often wander off into thought. They speak through balance, scale, material, color, and form a way of seeing the world with curious warmth.
