Louise Astbury

Lou Moon is a London-based interdisciplinary artist whose written work explores the intersecting points between what is visible and depict-able, versus what is only felt and understood in one’s body. They often draw inspiration from everyday settings (the workplace, supermarkets, public transport), cinema and specialist vocabulary (from botany to legal jargon). They also repurpose how language style is used in formal settings i.e. instructional videos, tannoy announcements and workplace signage.
